STRATEGIC IMPACT
Why an Animated Pilot Must Prove the World, Not Just the Plot
Establish tone, characters, rules, and atmosphere that promise stories beyond one episode.

River City is an animated pilot developed with Blind Cat Productions, following a stranded greaser named Edwin as he enters a strange, mystical town and gets pulled into the fight against a darker force. The project combined script-driven comedy, character animation, worldbuilding, music cues, and visual storytelling across a 16-minute pilot.
The work gave the show a complete animated foundation: tone, setting, cast, visual rhythm, and enough weird-town atmosphere to feel like a world with history behind every door.
