An emotion worth feeling.
The D.L. Moody Center needed a film that could carry a nineteenth-century legacy into a modern invitation. Humble Beginnings became the first animated chapter in that effort, telling the story of D. L. Moody’s conversion and early ministry while connecting his awakening to the Center’s continuing call to gather, worship, learn, and serve.
Rather than treating the project as a conventional historical biography, the team built an emotional donor film around transformation. A muted world gradually fills with light, color, purpose, and community as Moody discovers faith and begins sharing it with others.
