Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information MattiBurns Creative Studio collects through mattiburns.com, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.

Effective and last updated: July 12, 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to mattiburns.com and the online services operated by MattiBurns Creative Studio in St. Louis, Missouri. It does not control the privacy practices of websites or services linked from this site.

2. Information collected

Information submitted directly. When someone uses a contact or project inquiry form, the site may collect a first name, last name, email address, optional mobile number, industry, budget range, project message, and how the visitor heard about the studio. Newsletter forms may collect an email address.

Information collected automatically. The site may receive device and browser details, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, interactions, and cookie or similar technology identifiers. This information is generally used to understand how the site performs and how visitors move through it.

Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, medical, financial, or government identification information through website forms.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, evaluate potential projects, provide requested updates, operate and improve the website, understand audience engagement, prevent abuse, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and protect the studio's rights.

Information is not used for materially different purposes without an appropriate notice or other lawful basis when required.

4. Cookies, consent, and analytics

The site uses a cookie-consent tool to record privacy choices. Depending on those choices and the site's configuration, cookies or similar technologies may support essential site functions, measurement, and embedded media.

Google Analytics 4 helps measure site traffic and engagement. Analytics data may include device, browser, interaction, referral, and approximate location information. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time for functions such as location derivation and then discards raw IP addresses before logging them.

Visitors can use the consent banner to manage available choices. Browser settings may also block or remove cookies, although some site features may work differently afterward. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Embedded media and external links

Project pages may include video or other media from services such as Vimeo or YouTube. Those providers may receive device, browser, network, or interaction information when their content loads or is played, subject to their own privacy policies. Social-sharing and external links send visitors to third-party services only when selected.

6. Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by providers that support website hosting, forms, analytics, consent management, email, media delivery, security, and professional operations. Webflow hosts the site and may store form submissions when Webflow form handling is enabled. Google provides analytics services.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate misuse, protect safety or rights, or complete a business transfer. MattiBurns does not knowingly sell personal information for money.

7. Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including project follow-up, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. Retention periods can vary by the type and context of the information.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Choices and privacy requests

Visitors may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information submitted to MattiBurns. Depending on location and applicable law, additional rights may be available. Requests are evaluated and fulfilled when required, subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions.

Marketing emails, if offered, will include an unsubscribe method. Cookie choices can be adjusted through the site's consent controls or browser settings. MattiBurns will not discriminate against a visitor for making a privacy request where prohibited by law.

9. Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. MattiBurns does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may request its deletion.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site, services, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the latest revision took effect. Material changes may receive additional notice when appropriate.
